TLC Newsletter - Feb. 20, 2010
Back to the
newsletter page
Ah, our first
newsletter of this year - WE'VE been busy!
Sorry... lots has been going on these past six
weeks...
Update: TLC did a major pull
out of Kern County shelters the first week of
January as those who watch our website know...
Kern County is killing 350+ dogs every week
and put out a call for those who specialize in
Chihuahua rescue... We answered the call and
have been busy every since!
Purina Pets for Seniors:
TLC became part of this program in 2010, but
we have already completed our quota of senior
discounts for this quarter. They have
promised to review our efforts and see if
there are more funds available to get these
harder-to-place puppers!
IDTags.com:
If you adopted a TLC dog or puppy
since we joined this program, your little one
came registered with an IDTag. They have
just announced lifetime replacement tags for
the cost of shipping ($3.95) - this is their
website:
http://www.idtag.com/buy-idtag but you can
call (201) 537-5644 or email them at
support@idtag.com as well. Just tell
them you have a TLC dog and they'll be glad to
help you!
Unleashed: 'Unleashed'
(the non-animal version of PETCO) in Simi
Valley has a special deal going on right now -
buy three bags (or boxes) of treats and get
the fourth free. We stocked upon
Greenies recently and this was a BIG savings.
To find the local Unleashed store, visit their
website
HERE.
Hot
off the presses: Have you
heard about
BabyLove yet? or
RubyDee?
REMEMBER ALWAYS
TO ADOPT AND NOT SHOP! THE
DOGS WILL THANK YOU FOR IT!
This is an
opt-in newsletter, so you're free to come and
go as you please. We're hoping you'll
be with us for a very long time. Feel
free to pass on our newsletters to other
dog lovers... and encourage them to visit us
as well! If you like to suggest a topic
or have a question, please
contact
us. We'd LOVE to hear from you!
