Buddy... one of those 'good ole boy' types of personalities... At 7.13 pounds, Buddy has ten, twenty times that in heart and soul...

Passed by numerous times in the shelters for a 'non-descript' appearance, Buddy has just blossomed once bailed out of the shelter... Do you think he knew he was on the kill list three times and just barely missed being one of the Grim Reaper's victims?

Not a barker, smart (he learned the doggie door in two tries) and now crate-trained as well as housebroken, what more could you ask for in a furbaby?   Buddy is 6-7 years old and for a Chihuahua, this is about 40 years old according to the Dog Age Calculator... not old at all, but middle aged in fact.

This is just an easy-going, loveable kind of guy and gets along with other dogs, humans and all kinds of situations that many dogs might get spooky about... COOL dog and would make a great family dog or a fantastic companion for a single person.

To adopt, please download the adoption application from our website here and fax it to 805-578-2604.  TLC dogs can be seen and interacted with on Saturdays from noon to 3PM at the PETCO located in Moorpark.  During the week, an appointment to see the dogs can be made by calling either (805) 405-2765 or sending an email to TLC - we do home visits, 'greet & meets' and place dogs throughout the week by appointment only.  Puppies are not brought to adoptions until they've had their puppy shots for their own protection, safety and health reasons.  TLC is not a petshop - we are a rescue and ALL TLC dogs are living with our foster families until they are adopted.
