Sponsor a needy TLC dog - "BabyLove"

TLC has the policy of pulling one 'hard case' for every four dogs or puppies we pull out of the local shelters... This is our most recent 'hard case' and her name is BabyLove... If you can bear to see the original shape she was in when we found her the first week of January in a HIGH kill shelter, read through her blog HERE CAUTION - the original images are pretty graphic, so if you have a week stomach, please be advised.

BabyLove was dumped in a shelter after months of untreated Demodex... There was few places you could pick her up and/or hold her that her skin did not 'sweat' blood... Having lost the hair on the majority of her body, the untreated Demodex had progressed to destroying the top layers of skin, caused secondary infections and cracking, her system was overrun by infection, inability to grow and heal, etc.  It will take months for BabyLove to be ready for adoption, but in the meantime, she still needs vet care, meds, proper nutrition and care.

The photo above is a month of progress... To the left, you can still see open sores on her face in January... To the right, you can see her coat has started growing back in on her head and although some parts of her body have not yet returned to a healthy state, she has made great progress.

We can't do this alone... While we can put in the time for daily baths, vet visits, rehabilitation, etc. your donations make it possible for TLC to continue its work on these hard cases left at the shelter to die... YOU make as much of a difference with your financial support as we do with our hard work, energy and long hours trying to save these dogs.

If you have a few extra dollars, TLC and BabyLove sure could use them.   Donations can be made online through your credit card and/or PayPal account - please visit HERE and help sponsor BabyLove's recovery process!

OUR MISSION: To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned
and neglected dogs, saving them from certain death in the local shelters.
